Zetwerk shares slide 20% on debut amid widening retail-QIB divide
Zetwerk shares plunged over 20% after listing on Dalal Street, erasing early gains. Despite strong institutional demand, the IPO faltered with retail investors.

Zetwerk Manufacturing Business made its Dalal Street debut earlier today, but the shares fell over 20% from its listing price in trade on October 23, erasing its 5% listing pop. However, the stock clawed back some gains in the afternoon session. The public issue had seen a strong demand from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) but failed to garner interest in the retail segment. Zetwerk’s issue had opened on October 15 and closed on October 19, and the firm saw its IPO subscribed 3.1 times overall, while retail subscription stood at 0.77 times.
