US futures rise up to 1% as crude oil prices fall 4%; AI stocks inch higher
In Asian markets, South Korea's Kospi, Shanghai's SSE Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng ended higher, while Japan's Nikkei 225 settled in the red.

US equity futures rose on Monday evening, indicating a positive start to the month on Wall Street, as Brent crude prices fell around 4 percent amid hopes of a diplomatic resolution to US-Iran tensions. At around 5:45 pm IST, Nasdaq 100 futures were trading 0.75 percent higher, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.43 percent. Dow Jones futures advanced 0.47 percent. A report that US President Donald Trump wants to give diplomacy with Iran more time helped ease concerns over oil supplies, dragging Brent crude prices down more than 4 percent to below USD 109 per barrel.
