The danger of too many alerts
Attackers are exploiting AI security platforms through context poisoning—flooding systems with false alerts to induce fatigue and bypass human detection during real attacks.

By Govind Rammurthy Organisations are increasingly adapting AI and delegating security decisions to the technology. Email assistants summarise content. Security platforms correlate events and generate risk scores. Decision-making is accelerating. Automation is replacing analysis. But a more dangerous threat is emerging: one that does not rely on exploiting AI directly, but on systematically degrading human trust in AI-generated alerts.
