Suzlon Energy Q2 profit up 1.3%, revenue rises 26%
Suzlon Energy has announced a 1.3% increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter of FY27 compared to the previous year. This growth in revenue is attributed to a surge in wind turbine deliveries, resulting in a total of 710 MW delivered in this quarter versus 565 MW from last year.
Mumbai: Wind energy major Suzlon Energy reported a 1.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹394 crore for the September quarter of FY27. Net profit in the year-ago quarter stood at ₹389 crore, excluding a deferred tax benefit of ₹891 crore that had taken reported profit to ₹1,279 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.Revenue from operations rose 26% year-on-year to ₹4,869 crore in the quarter, driven by higher wind turbine deliveries.
