Nestle faces tougher H2 as inflation clouds outlook
Nestle India shares fell over 8% to a six-month low despite a 20.3% revenue jump in Q2 FY27, as top brokerages downgrade targets over food inflation and high base effect concerns.

Nestle India’s fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue and profit growth has done little to reassure investors, with shares falling more than 8% over two sessions on Thursday and Friday as concerns over inflation, demand moderation and a higher base overshadowed its September-quarter results. The stock hit a six-month low of Rs 1,265 apiece on the BSE. The market reaction reflects growing concerns over the sustainability of growth in the second half of FY27.
