Industrial production grew 6.7% in September, slowing from August’s revised 7.8%, as manufacturing growth moderated and mining contracted more sharply, according to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Wednesday. The September reading was, however, higher than the 6.1% expansion recorded a year earlier. August’s growth had initially been estimated at 8% before being revised down in the latest release.
