HUL Q2 results: Net profit rises 6%, beats estimates; company declares Rs 19 dividend

The company declared interim dividend of Rs 19 per equity share of face value of Re 1 each for the financial year ending 31st March, 2027.

The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the shareholders for the interim dividend has been fixed as Thursday, 12th November, 2026, and dividend will be paid to the shareholders on Wednesday, 25th November, 2026. The company's home care business, made up of brands such as Surf Excel and Rin, reported a 22 rise in underlying sales, led by double-digit volume growth, while liquids continued on a robust double-digit growth trajectory. "Focused market development and calibrated pricing actions boosted penetration and supported volume resilience. Premiumisation in powders through Surf excel Easy Wash Rs 99 pack continued to scale well.

Consistent strong growth resulted in further strengthening of our market leadership," the company stated in a release. The beauty & wellbeing portfolio, with brands such as Clinic Plus and Pond's recorded a 16% USG driven by double-digit volume growth. "Hair care accelerated its double-digit, volume-led growth trajectory. Performance was broad-based across formats with premium hair care and innovations continuing to outperform.

Skin care and colour cosmetics delivered double-digit, volume-led growth, while premium skin care sustained its growth trajectory driven by double-digit growth in organised trade," the release said. During the quarter, the company expanded its portfolio of Simple with new Barrier Repair Range and relaunched Vaseline body lotion with upgraded packaging and proposition, while also launching premium products under Dove and expanding the Minimalist range.

The company's personal care business, made up of brands like Lux and Lifebuoy, reported 9% USG, driven by double-digit USG in skin cleansing. "Focused market development actions in Pears and Dove Bars supported delivery of double-digit, volume-led growth. Bodywash continued to strengthen penetration and market leadership. Oral care delivered low-single digit USG driven by premium innovations which continued to scale well," the release added.

The foods business, meanwhile, recorded 9% USG, led by double-digit USG in lifestyle as Horlicks biscuits and the ready-to-drink format scaled. Packaged Foods portfolio witnessed double-digit, broad-based growth, while coffee reported volume-driven high-single digit growth. "Premium tea innovations continued to scale well. During the quarter, Horlicks expanded into high-growth protein segment with the launch of Horlicks protein powder, while Kissan Condiments refreshed its proposition alongside contemporary packaging," the company said.
