From packaging to defence: 3 stocks with FII stake hikes of up to 9.63 percentage points
Three stocks saw a sharp rise in FII holdings in the September quarter, even as foreign investors sold capital goods stocks. What makes these stocks stand out, and what should investors watch before adding them to their watchlist?
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold capital goods stocks worth Rs 7,130 crore during the July-September quarter. In our Q2FY27 FII stake hike series, we look at companies where foreign investors increased their holdings by more than two percentage points.
In our previous article, we explored FII stake increases in retail stocks, and today, we will explore industrial products companies that stood out on the shareholding screen. As always, we apply an additional filter where only companies withg a market capitalisation of over Rs 5,000 crore are considered. We zeroed in on three stocks. Now let’s dig into the financial performance, business expansion, and growth plans of these companies to understand what made FIIs raise their stake in them while at the same time being active sellers of capital goods stocks.
