Buzzing Stocks: Jupiter Wagons gains 5% on Rs 1,140 crore order win; Aeroflex Industries jumps 15% as Q2 profit surges 156%

Shares of Jupiter Wagons added 5 percent after company bagged an order worth Rs 1140 crore from Railways Ministry for 2,583 wagons. Hero MotoCorp share price declined 2 percent despite company reported a 4.55 percent year-on-year increase in standalone Q2 profit to Rs 1,456.2 crore, while revenue grew 21.1 percent to Rs 14,687.4 crore.

R R Kabel share price declined 3 percent after the company reported a 55.3 percent year-on-year surge in consolidated Q2 profit to Rs 180.6 crore, while revenue jumped 51.8 percent to Rs 3,284 crore. Pidilite Industries share price shed nearly 2 percent even company reported a 7.2 percent year-on-year rise in consolidated Q2 profit to Rs 626.5 crore, while revenue increased 20.9 percent to Rs 4,297.6 crore.

Share price of Hyundai Motor India surged 3 percent after CLSA maintained 'outperform' rating with a target price of Rs 2,300 per share. The brokerage noted that EBITDA margin rose 29 basis points quarter-on-quarter to 9.5 percent despite 250 basis points of commodity inflation, supported by price hikes, a better product mix, operating leverage and cost savings. Aeroflex Industries share price jumped 15 percent after the company reported 156.85 percent year-on-year surge in consolidated Q2 profit to Rs 36.6 crore, while revenue jumped 87 percent to Rs 207.4 crore.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories share price gained 1 percent after the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has classified the inspection outcome for FTO-SEZ Process Unit-02 in Andhra Pradesh as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) and officially closed the inspection. The US health regulator had conducted a Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) and a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) inspection at the facility. GMR Airports share price declined 1.5 percent even company narrowed its Q2 net loss to Rs 15 crore from Rs 37 crore a year ago.

Revenue grew 11.6 percent to Rs 4,095 crore, while EBITDA rose 2 percent to Rs 1,475 crore. However, EBITDA margin declined to 36 percent from 39.5 percent. Shares of Hexaware Technologies declined 3 percent despite company reported a 31 percent quarter-on-quarter increase in Q3 net profit to Rs 431 crore and a 2.3 percent rise in revenue to Rs 3,933 crore. However, EBIT declined 8.4 percent to Rs 479.4 crore, while EBIT margin fell to 12 percent from 13.6 percent.

Dollar revenue grew 1.6 percent to $411.9 million, and constant-currency revenue increased 1.7 percent sequentially. Investors are expected to remain focused on brokerage calls, block deals, order wins, regulatory developments and other company-specific triggers that could drive stock-level volatility during the session.
