Big Tech earnings put to test as analysts cling to bullish targets amid AI bubble burst
Big Tech is spending hundreds of billions on AI infrastructure, but negative free cash flow and rising financing needs are forcing investors to ask when the returns arrive.

Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft: The four largest US hyperscalers spent more than $200 billion on capital expenditure in the latest quarter, up from $113 billion a year earlier, and have signalled higher spending into the December quarter. Several of the largest spenders reported negative free cash flow in the third quarter.
