Allianz Global Investors acquires 1% stake in HD Fire Protect; Aditya Kumar Halwasiya buys Rs 101 crore PC Jeweller shares

Allianz Global Investors GmbH, a subsidiary of Munich-headquartered financial services and insurance group Allianz SE, acquired a 1% stake in fire protection equipment manufacturer HD Fire Protect through open-market transactions on October 21. HD Fire Protect made a strong stock market debut and sustained its upward momentum throughout Wednesday’s trading session, despite weakness in the broader equity market.

The stock ended at Rs 306.75 on the NSE, up 13.19% from its issue price of Rs 271. Allianz Global Investors GmbH, acting on behalf of Allianz Soa Fonds, purchased 17.55 lakh shares, representing 1% of HD Fire Protect’s paid-up equity, for Rs 55.73 crore. The shares were acquired at Rs 317.48 apiece. Incorporated in 1997, HD Fire Protect offers water-, foam- and gas-based fire suppression solutions.

The company raised Rs 712 crore through its initial public offering (IPO) last week. Investor Aditya Kumar Halwasiya buys PC Jeweller shares worth Rs 101 crore Investor Aditya Kumar Halwasiya purchased an additional 5.51 crore equity shares, representing a 0.56% stake in New Delhi-headquartered jewellery retailer PC Jeweller, for Rs 101.3 crore. The shares were acquired at Rs 18.39 apiece. Earlier, on October 15, Halwasiya had acquired 5.1 crore shares, equivalent to a 0.52% stake in the company, at Rs 14.43 apiece.

PC Jeweller shares continued to attract buying interest for the third consecutive session, rising 2.1% to Rs 18.51 amid high trading volumes. After market hours on Wednesday, the jewellery retailer reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 2026. Its profit rose 58% year-on-year to Rs 331.1 crore, while revenue grew 27.8% to Rs 1,054.5 crore. Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund almost exits Rappid Valves

Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund sold 1.44 lakh shares, representing 2.77% of the paid-up equity, in engineering company Rappid Valves (India) for Rs 5.11 crore. The shares were sold at Rs 355.33 apiece. Meanwhile, Niveza Small Cap Fund acquired an additional 39,600 shares, representing a 0.76% stake in the company, for Rs 1.38 crore at Rs 351 per share. Aegis Investment Fund also purchased 1.07 lakh shares, representing 2.06% of the paid-up equity, for Rs 3.83 crore at Rs 356.85 apiece.

According to the September 2026 shareholding pattern, Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund held 1,44,584 shares, equivalent to a 2.78% stake in Rappid Valves. Niveza Small Cap Fund held 2.16 lakh shares, representing a 4.16% stake. Rappid Valves shares fell 1.59% to Rs 355.25 amid high trading volumes. Minerva Ventures Fund acquires 1.71% stake in Encompass Design India Foreign portfolio investor Minerva Ventures Fund acquired 2.42 lakh shares, representing a 1.71% stake in Encompass Design India, for Rs 5.83 crore at Rs 241 per share.

Encompass Design India is a diversified consumer brand company focused on the home and living and food segments. Radiant Global Fund-Class B Participating Shares sold the shares, exiting its position in the company. Encompass Design India shares ended at Rs 240.35, down 0.68% amid high trading volumes.
