Dates differ by fund (30 September to 16 October), so weights are indicative. The Federal Bank is in the top 10 of four of the five funds. For an investor who owns two or three of these funds, that overlap matters more than the fund names: the same few stocks drive part of the return in each. Conclusion All the numbers we discussed above were for regular options. Also, nine and a half months is short.
Year-to-date returns are not the 5-year record. Meanwhile, smallcaps take up a good portion inside some midcap funds. HSBC and JM hold about a quarter of assets in smallcaps, which increases risk in a declining market. Investors should evaluate each fund's portfolio, costs, and risk factors before making any investing decisions. Happy investing. Disclaimer: This article is for information purposes only.
